Cleaning Mushrooms with Kangen Water®
Mushrooms are highly porous and can easily absorb whatever water you use to clean them including chemicals from tap water. Because of their delicate structure, they require a gentler touch.
Avoid soaking mushrooms for long periods; a quick, gentle rinse is enough to prepare them for cooking or eating raw. Using Neutral Kangen Water® ensures that your mushrooms stay firm, flavourful, and free from unwanted contaminants.
Storage Tip:
After cleaning, gently pat mushrooms dry with a paper towel. Store them in a paper bag or wrap them loosely in a cloth towel inside the refrigerator. This allows them to breathe and prevents them from becoming slimy.
