Cleaning Leafy Greens with Kangen Water®

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Leafy greens like lettuce, spinach, and kale are nutritional powerhouses, but they are also notorious for harboring pesticides, dirt, and even tiny insects deep within their layers.

To properly clean your greens, soak them in Strong Kangen Water® (11.5 pH) for about 5 minutes. The highly alkaline water breaks down the waxy pesticide coatings and lifts soil and residues from even the most delicate leaves. Gently swirl the greens in the water with your hands to help loosen hidden particles.

Once cleaned, rinse the leaves with Neutral Kangen Water® (7.0 pH) to restore their natural crispness and preserve their freshness.
This method ensures your salads are not only healthy but also truly clean and bursting with natural flavour.

Dry greens very well with a salad spinner or clean towels, then store them in an airtight container with a dry paper towel inside to absorb moisture. Refresh the towel every few days for maximum crispness.
