Cleaning Fruits and Berries with Kangen Water®

Fruits like strawberries, blueberries, and grapes are delicious, but they are often coated in invisible layers of pesticides, herbicides, and waxes that regular tap water can’t remove. Even organic fruits may carry bacteria and dirt from handling and transportation.

Using Strong Kangen Water® (11.5 pH) is the perfect solution for thoroughly cleaning your fruits and berries. The high alkalinity helps to break down and dissolve oil-based chemicals that stick to the surface. To clean, simply soak your fruits in a bowl of 11.5 pH water for 5–10 minutes, gently stirring occasionally to loosen residues. You’ll notice the water becoming cloudy — a clear sign of the pesticides and dirt being lifted away.

After soaking, rinse your fruits briefly with Kangen Water® (9.5 pH) to enhance their natural flavor and give them a clean, vibrant taste.
This simple step can transform the safety and enjoyment of every berry you eat.

Storage Tip:


After cleaning, make sure to dry fruits thoroughly before storing. Keep them in a breathable container lined with a paper towel inside the fridge to extend freshness and prevent mold growth.
